There are two types of course accreditation undertaken by World Certification Institute - a partial accreditation and a full accreditation. The accreditation process involves assessing the occupational validity of the course; the course curriculum; the competence of the trainers and the assessment methodology. Upon successful completion of the accreditation process, a Letter of Accreditation will be issued, together with a summary report of the accredited course. In the event that a full accreditation is possible and desired by the applying organization, a Certificate of Accreditation will be awarded by World Certification Institute. Any organization interested to apply for their courses to be accredited can request from the Secretariat a Course Accreditation Form W3 via email.

The cost of a course accreditation depends on the extent of the assessment process and whether a physical site visit is required of a Lead Assessor. The cost generally varies from a minimum of US$3,000 and capped at a maximum of US$20,000 regardless of the number of courses to be accredited.

Any organization, firm or company that supports the objectives of World Certification Institute can apply for corporate membership. The main difference between the two categories is that an Affiliate Member can apply to be an Authorized Center of World Certification Institute. For Regular Membership, an organization can nominate five eligible employees to receive a credential award and to become a professional member of the Institute. The nominated employees must meet the eligibility criteria of the credential award.
