Course accreditation undertaken by World Certification Institute can result to a partial accreditation or a full accreditation. The accreditation process involves assessing the occupational validity of the course; the course curriculum; the competence of the trainers and the assessment methodology. In the event that a full accreditation is successful the applying organization will be appointed a Certified Professional Center of the World Certification Institute. The cost of a course accreditation depends on the extent of the assessment process and whether a physical site visit is required of a Lead Assessor.

If an applicant meets the essential criteria for individual membership, he or she can request the Membership Application Form W2 from any Authorized or Approved Center or from the Secretariat via email.

Affiliation to World Certification Institute are carried out in any or all of the following categories:

1. Authorized Centers : applicable to individuals, firms, companies and organizations that are authorized by World Certification Institute to assist in processing individual applications for certification awards.
2. Approved Centers : applicable to firms, companies and organizations that are authorized by World Certification Institute to assist in processing individual applications for certification awards, and that World Certification Institute appoints a qualified Assessor in the organization, who will assess and approve entry-level certification awards, namely; World Accredited Practitioner & World Certified Professional.
3. Certified Professional Centers : applicable to educational and training organizations that organize and conduct courses; and that the courses are accredited and certified by World Certification Institute. The certificates issued by the organizations can be jointly awarded or accredited by World Certification Institute.

Generally, there is no cost to be incurred when an organization is appointed either as an Authorized Center or an Approved Center. Instead, the appointed Center will receive an income for processing applications made through the Center. However, there may be costs to be incurred when an organization is appointed a Certified Professional Center.
