World Certification Institute (WCI) is a global certifying body
that grants credential awards to individuals, as well as
accredits courses of organizations.

WCI attracts a global membership representing competent professionals and practitioners from diverse occupational backgrounds and cross-functional disciplines. Members are obligated to abide by a Code of Ethical Practices as a demonstration of professional integrity. The credential award creates a career pathway for members to move from entry-level occupational competence to the highest level of occupational mastery.

WCI grants 6 types of certification awards to individuals that meet the criteria to receive these awards. There are 3 main categories of world credentials for 6 types of WCI certification awards.

Tier 1 category refers to a Competent Level that comprises the certification awards of World Accredited Practitioner (WAP) and World Certified Professional (WCP).

Tier 2 category refers to an Expert Level that comprises the certification awards of World Accredited Expert Practitioner (WAEP) and World Certified Specialist Professional (WCSP).

Tier 3 category refers to a Leadership Level that comprises the certification awards of World Accredited Lead Practitioner (WALP) and World Certified Master Professional (WCMP).

WCI assesses and examines the level of career skills, competencies and professional practices and determines the classification of the world credentials in specialized occupational fields. Successful applicants are admitted into a World Register listing of certified professionals or accredited practitioners.

WCI accredits courses that are designed, developed and conducted by external organizations, such as colleges, schools, training companies, professional institutions, and universities.

The Accreditation Process involves assessing the Course Title and Duration, and their relevance to occupational and career development. Assessment also includes the integrity of the Course Provider, the competence of the Trainers and Lecturers, as well as the Assessment Methodology.

An organization that has its course accredited can print on its award certificate with the words “Accredited by World Certification Institute”, alongside WCI logo. Accreditation fee is only payable upon successful accreditation of a course.

Organizations applying for accreditation of their courses by WCI are required to furnish their information in a prescribed form W3. For more information on Accreditation, click on the link below: https://worldcertification.org/accreditation-of-courses.
