Trade Facilitation Measures most commonly needing implementation assistance spotlighted

WASHINGTON DC, October 5, 2023 – Based on notifications from developing members and least-developed country (LDC) members, five measures in the Trade Facilitation Agreement (TFA) have been identified where assistance has been most commonly requested for implementation for the next two years. The WTO Secretariat presented this update at a meeting of the Committee on Trade Facilitation dedicated to assistance and capacity building on 5 October as part of “Trade Facilitation Week”.
